I want to install a pedestal sink in my bathroom. Previously there was a standard, cheap Home Depot sink with a vanity cabinet. After pulling that away from the wall, the images below show what the wall looks like. I intend to mount the sink to the wall using Hanger Bolts, but first I believe I need to cut out a portion of the wall and screw in a piece of wood in which I can drill the hanger bolts. Dealer does not have a wall-mount bracket with this sink. I'm told to just use lag bolts. I don't believe them. This thing is heavy! Is there a bracket I can find. Is it an almost universal thing? #Sink
