There seems to be a Wayfair sale running at any given moment, but there is no bigger promotion hosted by the mega-home e-tailer than Way Day. The two-day stretch of heavily discounted stock (up to 80% off area rugs, lighting, living room furniture, and more) officially starts tomorrow, April 26, but we’ve already spotted a few early markdowns happening right now.
The amount of options can be overwhelming, so before even more price tags start to drop, we wanted to let you in our secret to sourcing the worthiest deals from the overwhelming assortment: Go straight for Domino-featured favorites. Below is a curated lineup of Wayfair sale items that have graced the best and brightest of our home tours, renovation profiles, and shopping guides. Highlights include wavy headboards constantly teetering in and out of stock, scalloped ceramic pendant lighting, kid-approved velvet armchairs, and futuristic bathroom accessories.
The Deal: 71% Off Swiss Madison Console Sink
Bathroom renovation budgets can get unruly—fast. If you’re trying to keep your upgrades under control, take a page out of designer Luke Havekes‘s book. When bringing an 1841 farmhouse in Canada’s Eastern Townships into the present, he relied on a smorgasbord of Wayfair finds, including this console bathroom sink from Swiss Madison that’s currently a whopping 71% off. The wide basin, made of ceramic, sits neatly on two lacquered steel legs. It’ll fit snug in a powder room while simultaneously offering an old-school vibe that’s compatible with modern plumbing. “Its not big or bulky and fits great in my small guest bath. I’ve received many compliments already,” one shopper writes. It has wowed plenty more visitors, too, and we’re guessing that’s because it “looks more expensive in person.”
This metal floor lamp looks like wrought iron, but for half the cost. You can spot it in interior designer Alex Boudreau‘s family getaway in Todos Santos, Mexico. While plenty of shoppers were content with the neutral drum that ships with this tripod base, we were positively raptured with Boudreau’s trick to swapping it for a custom shade. And for under $200, why wouldn’t you splurge to mimic the personal effect. (May we recommend the pretty pleated options from OKA’s fairly recent collab with Cabana?) A few other reviewers did the same, and fell in love with the 57-inch, pull chain-controlled lamp even more.
Designer Nicole Arruda of Nicole Alexandra Design Studio swapped out a bland lighting fixture for this glistening chandelier in her 500-square-foot apartment—a tweak that instantly transformed the space from dull to glam. Featuring a metal bracket adorned with clear glass crystals, the design boasts an 11-inch hang height. In addition to a downrod, canopy, and extra crystals, the fixture includes a dimmer (dimmable bulbs sold separately). One enthusiastic reviewer sums up purchasers’ general consensus about the glow-up deal: “This is the cutest chandelier for our entryway. It’s exactly what I was looking for. It’s a great price, too!”
Bring the outdoors in with this glossy ceramic tile featuring an undulated surface drenched in any of the four available colors—blue sky, black olive, soft cream, and red cherry. An interlocking mesh backing makes for easy installation, plus you can remove and reinstall individual tiles. Designed for wall use only, these are stain resistant—which reduces the likelihood of back-breaking scrub sessions. Described as beautiful and well made by pleased purchasers, it’s recommended that you cut with a wet saw, but one shopper found the material to be versatile. “It is easy to cut with a dry saw,” the review reads. “The texture and feel of this tile are perfect, and it is an easy clean back to shine!” raves another purchaser. “Many compliments so far.”
The mustard yellow hue of this velvet armchair was the first to grab our attention, and the 36% off price cut was next in line. Sumptuous fabric, sturdy quality, and a sleek silhouette are a few standout compliments counted among this cheerful piece’s reviewer praise. It’s the perfect under-$200 score for employing in a whimsical kids’ reading room—as showcased by Chip and Joni Lay inside their bright Atlanta bungalow.
If we had to increase a kitchen’s cool factor, we’d start with a sharply designed faucet like this modern number from Kraus Oletto, spotted in celebrity hairstylist Marcel Dagenais’s Milwaukee kitchen. Available in either a spot-free stainless, brushed brass, or chrome finish, the pull-down mechanism measures 15.75 inches high and is resistant to just about everything (scratches, stains, rust, and more). It also boasts a dual-function spout with reach technology that allows for smooth spray-head retraction. This feature, along with easy-to-clean soft silicone nozzles, makes for one smart and sleek kitchen aesthetic. “Makes life easier to be able to get large pots underneath the faucet,” one reviewer points out. Another cosigns, writing, “We love this faucet. It works great and looks nice and modern. The pull-down handle cleans the corners of our sink nicely.”
With an average of 4.7 stars from 1,400-plus reviewers, this freestanding acrylic tub was a shoo-in for making the cut as one of our favorite Domino-featured Wayfair deals. The contemporary design shows off a high-gloss acrylic finish reinforced by fiberglass—a classic contrast that plays well with colored or patterned bathroom tile (see it in action against mauve tilework in designer Anne Sage’s Tudor-inspired Los Angeles home). The purchase comes with a one-year parts warranty that covers manufacturing defects. As one reviewer notes, the “deliciously beautiful tub” keeps the water “toasty warm.” It’s also nonporous for easy cleaning. We’re sold.
Fashion designer Autumn Adeigbo’s vibrant West Hollywood walk-up gave us a master class on how to balance prints, textures, and colors in a refined, cohesive manner. And a set of these yellow ottomans was a part of that winning formula. We love the solid-pine frame, bright upholstered fabric, X-frame trestle base, and nickel nailhead trim (for decorative flair!). One reviewer, who notes that the ottomans are larger than expected writes, “They look fabulous in my living room.”
The Deal: 46% Off Viv + Rae Pink Area Rug
An immediate mood boost is what we experience when gazing at this traditionally patterned area rug punched up with a pastel pink hue—another playful Wayfair gem we spotted in designer Autumn Adeigbo’s groovy L.A. digs. Available in six sizes, the wood and nylon floor covering is a nice insulator for plank flooring and a comfy companion for plush carpeting.
These simple yet sweet patio chairs are a must-have for the perfect backyard retreat. We first spied them sitting next to this Sacramento, California, couple’s pink-lined pool, where the rattan and steel seats made a lovely pairing with an oversize striped umbrella. Of the five colorways, only the black is out of stock. (Editor’s note: While these aren’t on sale as of right now, we’ll be checking back to see if that changes—and considering they’re still less than $200 for two, we’d argue that’s still a great price point.)
While the original minimalist frame used by content creator Sara Le and her fiancé, Ryan Thepbanthao, is out of stock, we found the next best deal: Winston Porter’s Besnik upholstered bed. It offers the same, line-inspired finish. All you need is a half hour and two screws to put the wood-slatted bed together, multiple shoppers share. They also praise its quality, but in case you encounter any issues, the bed comes with a two-year warranty.
We love a nice velvet piece, and this toddler bed is no exception. There is some minor assembly required, but according to several reviewers, the process only takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Also, you won’t need a box spring—only a standard-size crib mattress. One satisfied purchaser writes, “My daughter loves this bed, and it was so easy for her to transition from her crib.” Others found the bed a helpful substitute for their pets. “I got this for my dog after kicking him out of mine,” one reviewer discloses, adding, “He seems to be okay with it.”
To brighten up her Portland, Oregon, home, interior designer Jessica Hansen incorporated a ton of fresh neutral accents like this handmade braided jute rug, on sale now for nearly 40% off its original price. The natural-hued floor covering has instantly won over reviewers, who describe it as “sturdy but soft” and having the ability to add a perfectly “organic yet stylish” touch to a room.

As seen in: This $279 Walmart Bouclé Chair Made Us Do a Double Take
Since the Goop queen’s launch of her $999 CB2 bouclé chair, we’ve clocked many a Gwyneth Paltrow–esque swivel seat popping up at retailers across the Internet—and with more palatable price tags in tow. Although not quite as affordable as Walmart’s $279 nod to the retro-mod style (still out of stock at the moment), we find Wayfair’s top-rated version exudes an elegant coziness thanks to its ivory upholstery and huglike silhouette. It also comes in a wider range of colorways: a ’70s-evocative brown, stormy gray, forest green, and minimalist-friendly taupe. As one reviewer boldly attests, “This chair is so comfortable! I get compliments about it a lot. It’s the perfect dupe of the Gwyneth bouclé chair.”

As seen in: Reserve_Home’s Instagram
After spotting this delightfully wavy headboard in the envy-inducing bedroom of Reserve Home’s Mallory Fletchall, our digital director, Lindsey Mather, kind of wanted to keep the excellent Wayfair score all to herself. But this steal wouldn’t have stayed secret for long. Crafted from durable plywood and MDF, padded with supportive foam, and covered in stain-resistant performance velvet, the headboard is a sturdy purchase. Another detail worth mentioning: The frame is adjustable, which allows for multiple mounting positions to fit your bed height and wall space. But hurry, this one is always teetering in and out of stock—three of the six colorways are already gone.

The retro-rustic aesthetic of this chiminea charmed Domino editors and readers alike. The monochromatic bathroom in model and designer Taylor Lashae’s Brooklyn apartment sparked our obsession with Robern’s innovative number. The defogger clears away steam, and a Bluetooth-enabled sound system keeps the party going. It’s all very The Future.
